The Farmhouse.
This is where your wedding day at Black Bird Farm begins. Our renovated, charming farmhouse is filled with unique treasures and offers you and your bridal party the perfect place to relax as you prepare for your special day. Complete with a fully furnished bridal suite, groom’s den, living area, restrooms, kitchen and just a few steps away from our modern and industrial barn venue – getting ready and celebrating love just got easier.
While our wedding couples adore the farmhouse for their special day, this space has also been utilized for private dinner parties, intimate bridal/baby showers and other
small events with parties of 15 people or less.
The Breathtaking Bridal Suite.
Our Bridal Suite is charming, unique and the perfect “getting ready” spot for you and your girls. It’s a place where you can relax, get your hair and makeup done and toast to the day’s events with your bridal party before you say “I do”.
Grab a coffee or mimosa in the kitchen and enjoy a morning full of celebration, laughter and maybe a few happy tears.
The Groom's Den.
Grooms need love, too! Our Groom’s Den is where masculinity meets comfort and a great space for the guys to hang out, relax and calm their nerves before the ceremony.
While staying out of the bride’s sight, the groom and groomsmen can indulge in some friendly competition on our gaming console. Not to mention, the 50” flatscreen TV to watch games with their feet up and a drink in hand.
The Honeymoon Suite.
Takes Flight in 2024
As the wedding celebration winds down, the bride and groom can sneak away to our cozy honeymoon suite in the farmhouse. You’ll be greeted with a champagne toast, late night sweet, and fresh flowers. The four-poster canopy bed boasts a plush top covered in luxurious and premium soft sheets for a restful night before waking to a light breakfast to start your first full day as Mr. and Mrs.!
The Pasture.
Our lush, green pasture makes for a picture-perfect ceremony spot. Whether you choose to keep the space as-is, accentuate with an archway or hang flowing fabric from the tree, you’re sure to wow your guests with this incredible spot to tie the knot. Surrounded by greens and our hundred-year-old twin maple trees, The Pasture is quaint, romantic and one of our favorite “I do” spots at Black Bird Farm.
This space is also one of our favorite spots for couples or guests to enjoy the rich golden hour and a moment together as the night ends.
The Hidden Meadow.
Remember how we said there’s something special about enjoying the quietness of the countryside? The Hidden Meadow is just that – our little slice of heaven, where it’s natural beauty and the freshness in the air truly turn your day to magic.
This location was found accidentally with a little help from Mother Nature. It truly is our hidden gem ceremony site. The Hidden Meadow space can accommodate both small, intimate weddings as well as weddings up to 200 guests. It’s beauty is organic and, paired with the industrial barn, offers a sophisticated charm. Though its crisp green tones are a stunning backdrop for a wedding in the spring and summer, the fields turn magical in early autumn when the leaves turn warm and rich in color. No matter the season – the Hidden Meadow is breathtakingly beautiful.
The Retaining Wall.
At the stone steps where the white tulips and boxwoods thrive, you will find a popular ceremony spot for our spring and summer wedding couples. Located right outside The Farmhouse, our Retaining Wall overlooks miles and miles of Ohio countryside or waving corn fields, depending on the season. With simple décor and our black cross back chairs, this spot shows its true beauty through the surroundings, landscape and simplicity.
