If you got engaged this summer, you’re probably starting your wedding planning for next year’s festivities. One of the big things you need to do is decide on your bridal party and invite then to be part of your day. Whether you’re including special friends or family members, you’ll want to make the big ask special. This can look different depending on your style.
Keeping it Simple
The big question for your bridal party doesn’t necessarily need to be over-the-top in order to be special. It can be as simple as a hand-written card and a sit-down for a cup of coffee. Just think of your friends and asking them to stand with you on your day will be special.
Getting Creative
You can also stretch your creativity muscle when asking your bridal party. This could include a piece of décor that goes with your proposed wedding theme, a cute invitation to be part of the wedding party that includes a joke or pun, or something engraved with the ask (think wall art, coffee mug, wine glass, etc.)
No matter how you ask your bridal party, you’ll want to give them plenty of time to save and prepare for their bridesmaid and groomsmen duties. Be sure to ask them as soon as possible, preferably 9-12 months before the big day.
